Why Do I Need Your Permission to be Me?

The light-bulb shined and I hear, “Just why do I need permission to be me?”

Poof a Magical Moment occurs!

I am in the mirror and my soul steps forward with divine wisdom.

You are enough!

You are perfect as you are!

I stare looking at the glory of which is she and she is me!

For years, I have taught so many to love themselves as there are and they do not need permission. Yet, for some reason this was not transferred to me. It was like I was too afraid to be me. Then again, I kind of forgot who she/I am.

Reclaiming Me

I do not need anyone’s idea, acceptance or permission to be myself.  This is a false impression of the divine truth.  Spirit created me in my most perfect manner; my truest me.

Why Do I need Your Permission to be Me

The words You’e the Truest You rings though for me.

I love me as I am.

I am beautiful as I am.

I am uniquely, beautifully quirky me.

I am in Love with Me!!

Can you say the same thing?

What is it about you that you love?

What about you makes you smiles?

What about you makes you sing?

May you too believe, I am uniquely, beautifully me!

I struggle with self-worth often – I find it easy to encourage others but yet I’m so detrimental to myself. Thank you for this encouraging post, I am going to spend more time asking myself the questions you have suggested.

This is one of your truest and most powerful blog posts, Natasha! It speaks to a Universal theme of all of us LOVING OURSELVES MORE. You explore the topic with your typical tender transparency. BRAVA! And the many affirmations could all be transferred to tee-shirts and notecards. Just sayin’! I know I’d buy them. xoxo L

I’ve been reading Zig Ziglar’s self-talk cards almost everyday recently. It’s helped me realize the qualities that I already have and how to expound upon them everyday. One of my personal goals this year is to take more care of me. Thank you for this post!

What a nice way and positive way of presenting the inner feeling of I would say almost everyone.. We all want to be ourselves, not being judged by anyone else or not feeling under pressure of being like someone else.

loved the lines..” I do not need anyone’s idea, acceptance or permission to be myself. “very very strong lines.

    inspiring post I must say!!

  5. Alexis says:

I’ve been thinking about these things myself – permission to be me (from me) and what that means in all aspects of life, especially business. Thank you for the positive reminder!

Any post that shares the truer than true wisdom of Dr. Seuss has me on board 100%. Beautiful, Natasha! We are perfect as we are – something we may need to keep realizing over and over!
