Mindful Meditation

Mindfulness is a way of being aware.

This is another way of saying that you are aware of your thoughts, emotions or experiences on a moment to moment basis.

Oh so, you mean that being in the present moment stuff.

Yes,  this is the present moment idea, and you also do not have to be of Eastern principles.

Mindfulness 

Let’s break this down.

When you are being mindful, you are not practising this every waking moment. That is too much for anyone.

This is about being present in the moment for about 20 mins. I like to say 17 minutes. The human mind is active and focused for about 52 mins max and then needs a break.

The 17 mins can help you be in the moment and voila you are being  mindful.

17 Minutes at a Time

Just think,  you take a break every 52 mins,  and this can provide a way for you to be detached toLight Enters Dark Mindful Meditation an outcome. You take 17 mins to practice being aware of your surroundings, feelings and/or emotions.

Poof, you are being mindful.

This helps you relax and restore you.

Re-Train and Re-Wire

First of all, nothing is absolute, and it will take time for you to adjust your brain waves and thought patterns.

Be patient with you.

This is called metacognition and you are re-training your mind.

Yes, you may fail.

So what! Wipe the slate clean and start over.

If you were like me as a child, I was the queen of Do-Over(s). I would calll out Do-Over when something did not go my way or I made a mistake. Poof, it was done, no crying or worrying and I was back at it in no time.

Have you ever read “Eat, Pray, Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert?

There is a scene in the book and movie where the character is trying to meditate.  That’s intense meditation. Now, do not get me wrong, I’m not making fun nor putting down this form of meditation. Notice I said form. There are many meditations and meditation forms.

It’s okay to let your mind wander with mindful meditation. This is also not to be confused with Transcendal Meditation which is more of a higher state of being.

Allow you to synergize with you, your breath and your heart beat.

Mindful Meditation

  2. Notice your legs. Do you wish for them to be criss cross applesauce? Or if you are sitting in a chair, place your feet on the ground.
  3. Straighten your upper body to feel comfortable, not super sitff and not slouching.
  4. Notice your arms. Are your palms facing up or down? Are you resting your hands on your knees or clenching your fists. Please open up your hands and allow your hands to be relaxed.
  5. Soften your gaze. Do not try to “focus.” Allow your eyes gently close or fall down,
  6. Feel your breath. Feel your heart beat. They are in sync. Allow the air to flow to and from your mouth and lungs. This helps your heart rythm to remain natural and in a flow.
  7.  Be kind to your wandering mind. If your mind wanders so be it. Sit and notice where your thoughts go. Inhale and as you exhale come back to the present meditation.
  8. When you are ready to open your eyes flutter them open like a butterfly’s wings.

What Does Your Heart Desire?

What does you heart desire? It seems like such a simple question, and in truth it is.  One’s heart can have simple truths, desires; the ego creates the complexity.

 

 

Connecting Heart to Voice

Some may not quite understand; but is not for them; it is for you. Let me be me.  Insert this in your heart: Let go of your ideal of me; I am who I am. It feels good to show the world this confidence and this reminds me of a Dr. Suess quote:  “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

Your Bold Statement

So, when you make a bold statement, be sure to know that you have turned inward to seek what your heart truly desires and surround yourself with those who support you. Please do not attempt to disallow, rather support, and yep if ya falter, find those who will be there if ya do.  Ascending into mastery is not as easy as it may seem; in fact it’s down right difficult.  You may have tears pour out of your soul, releasing and letting go that which does not serve you. Allow you to let go.

Quiet Heart Meditation

  • Light a candle
  • Get real quiet and turn inward.  
  • Inhale to the count of 6 and exhale for the count of 6
  • Repeat this 3 times.
  • Ask your heart what it’s true desires are?  
  • Write this down
  • Sit and allow this to flow throughout your mind, body and soul.

Only you can hear your absolute truth and your heart’s desires.

Imagine That Your Heart is Your Magic Wand

Law of Attraction, Manifesting…we all hear this over and over. Great, or not so great depending on which end you’re on. Let’s explore your heart is your magic wand.

BIPPITY BOPPITY BOO

fairy godmother magic wan magical blessingsIf you have ever seen Disney’s Cinderella then you have heard the song Bippity Boppity Boo that the fair godmother sings. She waves her magic wand and voila Cinderella is transformed from rags to the belle of the ball.

I don’t know about you, but my fairy godmother got lost and refused to ask for directions. With that being said, things do not just magically appear. Or do they?

MAGICAL APPEARANCE

When I was a child, I was able to manifest in ways that you thought I had a magic wand, and where the name Magical Blessings originates from. People were always saying that I am magical and blessed. I love it!

With my heart, I could manifest like no other. Sadly, as I grew up, the manifesting slowed down. I began to feel like the lost boys from Peter Pan and scream, “Don’t ever grow up it’s a trap.”

It is and it isn’t. My heart is the same, I’ve grown and enjoyed many years on Mother Gaia, so why did my ability to manifest in a magical way cease?

ADULT SHIFTS

I grew up, became a mom and found myself in a very unhealthy relationship. It was like I went to the dark side and they lied, there are no cookies. Yes, there is a darkness to manifesting that is oddly not discussed.  Ya either manifest or don’t.

Anxiety, worry, and doubt are more manifest killers.  You can pretty much write off manifesting when the ego starts its anxious worry banter. Children manifest much better as they do not worry about the outcome; they are super busy playing and having fun.

Yes, dear heart, your adulting can be a manifest killer. You get busy living life, worrying about how to pay bills and there goes the alignment. Hence, this is why you are not manifesting. The dark side of manifesting. It seems simple and it is.

HEART OF A CHILD 

Let’s travel back to when you were a child. Take a moment and place in your mind something that you really wanted. This can be an item, circumstance, whatever your heart desires.

Did you fret and lay awake with sleepless nights?

No, you slept well, played and enjoyed life!

Place your hand over your heart. Imagine something that you really want. Close your eyes and breath in and exhale. Get up & let it go. Allow Spirit to flow this to you. There is nothing else to do except laugh, love and live; oh and play: enjoy life!

The more you worry or feel anxious; the more it will not manifest with ease. Challenges may arrive for ya. Toil, toil, and troubles brew and then smack ya down. You do not need nor deserve this. So, let it go and let it flow to you.

DONE IS DONE

Again, I cannot stress to you. Go play, enjoy life and it will come to you if you allow.
